PETALING JAYA: The Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) confirmed this evening that Perlis menteri besar Shukri Ramli was indeed detained, despite a denial on the latter’s Facebook page earlier today.
PETALING JAYA: The Malaysia n Anti-Corruption Commission confirmed this evening that Perlis menteri besar Shukri Ramli was indeed detained, despite a denial on the latter’s Facebook page earlier today.
A statement on Shukri’s Facebook page uploaded by the administrator earlier said Shukri was not arrested, contrary to a news portal’s report. “Don’t spread fake news. As I’ve stressed before, I will continue to cooperate with MACC in their investigation,” he said, adding that there was nothing to worry about.
