Macarthur High School students say deaf culture isn’t something to be ignored in San Antonio. As the city continues to expand, they’re offering free sign language classes to help people learn a new way to communicate.
🎨 Things to do in San Antonio this weekend: Luminaria Contemporary Arts Festival, San Antonio Beer Festival, Vino Fest
The students are offering free American Sign Language classes to the public on Sundays at the Brookhollow Library this year. The classes, held from 3 p.m. to 4 p.m., started on Oct. 13 and will run until Nov. 24.
