David Mabuza, who has finally joined the ANC’s campaign trail is leading a door-to-door in Olivenhoutbosch, south of Pretoria, on Sunday.
JOHANNESBURG - Former African National Congress deputy president, David Mabuza, has urged communities in Tshwane to give the party another chance to govern.
"We are quite aware that the journey is still too long. There are a number of areas where things are still outstanding. The amount of work we have done is inadequate, we have made progress but we’re still going on. So we are here to request our people to give the ANC an opportunity." Olievenhoutbosch resident, Joseph Mahapa, said that despite ongoing challenges in the township, the party has kept its promises.
