Mabuza campaigns in Vanderbijlpark via SABCNewsOnline

He was in Vanderbijlpark on Thursday assuring residents that government is working on resolving their issues.

The ANC’s Black Green and Gold has certainly not lost its magic. Community members on the west of Johannesburg came out in their numbers to meet ANC deputy president. The community is now pinning its hope on the upcoming elections. “We need drains to be fixed, water and roads. There was a time when we didn’t have water and we used to struggle,” says one of the residents.

“ANC is an old party they gave our mothers and grandmothers houses. There must be changes, there are too many potholes. There are too many things we need at school we don’t have windows; there are no doors the school is collapsing,” says one of the residents. Another resident says; “I want government to give learnerships for young people. Life here is difficult, there are no learnerships.”
