MANILA, Philippines: The family of slain broadcaster Percy Lapid, Percival Mabasa in real life, wants an independent autopsy done on the remains of former Bureau of Corrections (BuCor) Deputy Security Officer Ricardo Zulueta, a co-accused in the killing of Lapid.
MANILA, Philippines: The family of slain broadcaster Percy Lapid, Percival Mabasa in real life, wants an independent autopsy done on the remains of former Bureau of Corrections Deputy Security Officer Ricardo Zulueta, a co-accused in the killing of Lapid.Roy Mabasa, Lapid's brother, said 'an independent autopsy report would show the public that we are indeed after the truth.
Lapid was shot dead in Las Piñas City on October 3, 2022.Zulueta, together with former BuCor Director General Gerald Bantag, were charged 'as principals by inducement' in two murder complaints for the deaths of Lapid and Cristito Villamor Palaña, who was identified by self-confessed gunman Joel Escorial as the alleged middleman in the broadcaster's slay.
