Motorists report being 'stuck' on the motorway this morning as the stretch between J6 and J7 remains closed in one direction.
A collision in the early hours of Saturday morning has sparked major road closures on the M74 motorway.
The incident, reported just after 3am, happened near Hamilton junction 6, and caused the carriageway to close in both directions. The northbound carriageway has since reopened but the southbound remains closed, according to Police Scotland, and signed diversions are in place.
