Traffic is being diverted
"There is approximately six miles of congestion on approach which is adding about an hour and a half to normal journey times.
"A spokesperson also confirmed there are 90 minutes of delays in place. It comes as temperatures are set to reach 28C in the Northampton area today as the heatwave continues in the county.
