“The group left the country prior to the Movement Control Order's announcement, which took effect yesterday. Prior to this, we only restricted travel to and from five countries including China and Italy. Indonesia was not in the list.
“We all know that the virus has spread rapidly following the mass tabligh gathering in Sri Petaling recently. That is why we view the gathering in Indonesia seriously and the Immigration Department will take necessary steps at all entries.“We have been alerted about it. Police are also on the look-out for rat lanes that they might use ,” he told a Press conference in a live telecast today.
