PUTRAJAYA: Malaysians who are in Covid-19 affected countries are urged to register themselves at the nearest embassy.

Foreign Minister Datuk Seri Hishammuddin Hussein said currently 11 Malaysians abroad had been identified as Covid-19 positive, but there were concerns that there might be more among those who had not registered with Wisma Putra.

"Registering is important to ensure that our representatives can provide consular assistance to those who need them. "Obey the instructions of the local authorities at all times. If you have Covid-19 symptoms, immediately seek treatment at the nearest health facility.
