The Springline in Menlo Park is about to have some of the hottest names in the Bay Area restaurant scene.

The glitz and glamor of Beverly Hills’ Mírame, a “contemporary Mexican” restaurant by award-winning chef Joshua Gil, is joining the star-studded lineup of restaurants at Menlo Park’s Springline complex, according to the“It’s what we call the next iteration of Mexican cuisine,” co-owner Matt Egan told the paper. Gil and Egan joined forces when Egan direct messaged Gil over Instagram, and in July 2020, they opened Mírame Beverly Hills.
The restaurant went on to receive high acclaim from Eater LA, the Los Angeles Times, Time Out and others. Dishes that stood out include salmon skin chicharrones with fermented garlic aioli, squid aguachile, campechana and other seafood dishes inspired by Gil’s Baja California roots. Before his tenure at Mírame, Gil had helped Joe's Restaurant in Venice earn a Michelin star in 2008 while he was chef de cuisine there.
