Holidaymakers say they still do not know if their cars were damaged in the large fire.

The fire service said up to 1,500 vehicles were in the car park when a fire started on TuesdayPassengers who left their vehicles at Luton Airport say they have been "left in limbo" after fire ripped through one of the car parks.Katie Forbes, from Coventry, said she had struggled to get answers from the airport about what happened to her car.

"I get it, they're getting other people that are going to the airport, but to me there's been no apology, not once has anybody said 'we're sorry about the situation'," she said.Katie Forbes, who has a vehicle in the fire-hit car park, said an apology from the airport would go "a long way" Thomas Willett, from Essex, travelled to Gran Canaria with his partner on Tuesday and also has a vehicle in car park two.

Lucy Lynam, from Hertfordshire, said she was "none the wiser" about the state of her car and was "expecting the worst". She said: "I'm parked on level 2 against the perimeter fence... which, from the videos, seems where the bulk of the damage has happened.
