Luke Voit rounds the bases after hitting a 400-foot home run in Triple-A on Wednesday night.Voit had shown promise in years prior, including the 39 games that he played The Bronx in 2018 when he recorded 14 home runs. He also hit 22 homers in the COVID-shortened 2020 season.
He spent four seasons in pinstripes, hit .271 with 68 home runs and 182 RBIs before the Yankees traded him in the spring of 2022. The Bombers traded Voit to the Padres, with whom he lasted 82 games before he was sent to Washington as part of the Juan Soto trade.
