Friendswood man, 18, accused of killing father inside home
, the Friendswood Police Department said on Wednesday.
Luke Michael Starling, 18, was arrested on Sept. 16 in Lampasas County, north of Austin, according to police. He was arrested near state Highway 190 on a warrant for unlawful carrying of a weapon, police saidSleeping homeless man shot in the head outside west Houston furniture store, police say Starling is accused of killing his father Christopher Todd Starling, 51, whose body was found inside his home in the 400 block of Oak Vista Drive on Sept. 12.
The elder Starling was found with a head wound and was suspected to have been dead for several days, police said earlier this month. The men lived together at the home, according to public records. Luke Starling's bond on the Galveston County charge was set at $250,000. If he makes bond in Galveston County, Starling would be transferred to Harris County on the unlawful possession charge, Galveston County Sheriff Henry Trochesset [email protected]
