Luka Doncic Likely To Make Lakers Debut On Monday Against Jazz - RealGM Wiretap
Luka Doncic and the Los Angeles Lakers are targeting Monday's home game against the Utah Jazz for his debut with the team. Doncic has been out since Christmas Day with a calf injury and there had been a possibility he could play on Saturday against the Indiana Pacers.
Doncic participated in a 5-on-5 scrimmage after Lakers practice Wednesday with their"stay ready" group comprised of end-of-the-bench players and coaches. "It went well," JJ Redick said of the scrimmage before they hosted the Golden State Warriors."I think probably, more likely, Monday. Again, no commitment made or anything, but probably trending more towards Monday.""In terms of an evaluation, we want him to feel confident, we want our medical staff to feel confident," Redick said.
