“We all can see he’s not moving well,” coach Jason Kidd said, “so shooting, defense, it’s affecting everything. He’s trying to fight through it and help his teammates, but he had to leave there, so hopefully it’s not something serious. We have a couple days here before we play Memphis [on Saturday], so hopefully he’s back soon.”He missed five of the Mavericks’ last seven games during his 2018-19 rookie season with a right thigh contusion, but never more than two consecutive games.
“Just can’t really push how I like,” Doncic said. “Just getting my rhythm, running, I can feel it. But mostly probably in the jump shots because they’ve been going bad, so pushing off is really hard for me.” Remember when the Mavericks appeared better positioned to handle the quick turnaround before Doncic’s exit?
