The future of the Liverpool winger continues to be shrouded with uncertainty after various transfer moves
The pursuit of any sort of transfer hint sent some Liverpool supporters into a tizzy earlier this week. On their return to the AXA Training Centre, Luis Diaz , Trent Alexander-Arnold and Darwin Nunez were captured on film walking down the stairs towards the gym. And a whispered aside from Diaz that prompted chuckles from his team-mates was all it took to spark a forensic examination from fans on social media as to what the Colombian winger actually said.
PSG, though, remains a potential route, with the French champions yet to replace Mbappe and having been linked with Diaz earlier in the year. For his part, Diaz maintained when asked during the Copa America - where he finished runner-up to Alexis Mac Allister's Argentina - that he was happy at Liverpool, and his demeanour since returning to Kirkby would suggest as much.
