Latest Liverpool transfer gossip after Martín Zubimendi rejected a move to Anfield
Liverpool have still received nothing regarding Luis Diaz leaving this summer. That is despite reported interest from Barcelona and Manchester City . Claims in Colombia emerged during the early hours of this morning suggesting Barcelona had restarted discussions to sign Diaz. The suggestion was that a move could happen in the final days before the transfer window closes. Then, around lunchtime, rumours about Diaz staying in the Premier League but moving to Man City materialised.
The Reds have been insistent that the £20million asking price must be met, so far the Eredivisie giants have fallen below the valuation. The outlet, however, has claimed that the Dutch giants are still keen on the 22-year-old and are plotting an improved offer. Van den Berg has made just four senior appearances since signing in the summer of 2019. Speaking about his future last month , Van den Berg said: 'I know in today’s market will happen,' Van den Berg said.
