It’s one of our favourite Christmas present ideas – the luxuriously indulgent Laura Mercier Ambre Vanille Honey Bath, £45 here, a favourite of celebrities and beauty aficionados up and down the country. And Lucy Fallon is no exception.
The Aldi Vanilla Honey Golden Bath Nectar also comes with a similar cute little wooden honey dispenser. Boxed up, it makes a perfect present. The sweet scented bath foam is always a sell-out favourite but the great news is that it’s back in stock for Christmas – not currently in stock online, but available in selected stores.
Realistically, how do the two products compare? The scents, both heady with honey and delicious, intoxicating vanilla, are a good match. And visually, with their matching wooden dispensers, they are certainly pleasingly comparable. However, there is a reason that the Laura Mercier product has cult status. The quality of the fragrances will fill your whole bathroom, and will linger beautifully – which is probably why it costs significantly more.
