The lottery, which was drawn on January 21, saw hundreds of people take part. Residents in Headingley Mount, Headingly, who signed up will receive £1,000 per ticket and a maximum of £6,000.

One of the daily postcode winners today is L26 3JX - Headingley area - and LL18 5SZ - Horsforth. Two Leeds streets out of 20 winners from postcodes across the UK have bagged the prize.A Hyde Park street also scoped the prize on Wednesday. Lucky residents have scooped up to £6,000. Residents who have signed up to the draw will receive £1,000 per ticket, and up to a maximum of £6,000. People's Postcode Lottery is a subscription lottery which raises money for charities.

They are automatically entered into every draw and prizes are announced every day of the month. A spokesperson for the subscription lottery service added that 33 per cent of the ticket price goes to charities.
