Residents who have signed up to the draw will receive £1,000 per ticket, and up to a maximum of £6,000. People's Postcode Lottery is a subscription lottery which raises money for charities.
They are automatically entered into every draw and prizes are announced every day of the month. A spokesperson for the subscription lottery service added that 33 per cent of the ticket price goes to charities.
