'I felt embarrassed for Luca!' says LoveIsland columnist Shaughna_P
Hi everyone – it’s Shaughna Phillips here. It’s been a bit of a rollercoaster ride in the Love Island villa this week, hasn’t it?
Saying that, I expected him to create a bit more drama at the recoupling. I think he could have really shaken things up and chosen someone in a couple, like Gemma Owen. Now that Jacques is out of the picture, it’s easy for him to choose Paige Thorne. I wanted him to be a little bit more of a daredevil and be a bit more brutal!
So I think Paige will be the last thing on Jacques’ mind. I thought that maybe Paige would have left with him, just because I thought she was absolutely smitten, but I’m glad that she didn’t. You go in there as a single person – it’s your journey – and she has every right to make the most of it. Adam could potentially get his head turned if so. But maybe he’s learnt his lesson. Who knows? I do secretly want him to cause some more drama, though. We need to spice things up in there! They’re all very loved-up.
Tasha Ghouri and Andrew Le Page have also taken the next step in their romance after she asked him to be her boyfriend. I admire her for asking him out, not many girls do that. But there was no way he was ever going to say no! I think she could ask him to marry her and he would say yes. I’m so excited that movie night is happening this evening! I have been needing this in my life. I think it has the potential to disrupt things with Tasha and Andrew. More so on Andrew’s side because he was moving insane in Casa Amor. Being told what happened and actually seeing what happened are two very different things.
