Howard has size and pedigree for the Tigers. The son of former LSU quarterback Jamie Howard, Walker committed to LSU while Ed Orgeron was still the head coach there. Things got murky for the Lafayette recruit after LSU announced that Orgeron would not come back after the 2021 season.

Howard effortlessly tossed a football in the air to himself as the two danced to the tune of Garth Brooks'"Callin' Baton Rouge," which is a popular song played at Tiger Stadium on Saturdays to pump up the crowd.he left behind at Notre Dame.
LSU won the title two years ago with a 15-0 record and arguably one of the best teams ever assembled in college football history. Th 2019 Tigers beat seven teams ranked in the top 10 when they played them at the time, which included Alabama, Clemson, Georgia, Oklahoma, Florida, Auburn and Texas.
