PETALING JAYA: The train services to six LRT stations – Stesen Bandaraya, Sultan Ismail, PWTC, Titiwangsa, Sentul and Sentul Timur – will resume from 6am on Friday (May 12).
This follows the completion of the first phase of the temporary upgrading of overhead structures and rails under repair near the Bandaraya LRT station.
"This was because the trains in service could not meet the operating criteria and had to be removed for safety reasons," it said. It added, however, that the projected completion was subject to analysis and approval by the relevant authorities. "Commuters have an option of using alternative rail routes. Passengers who wish to travel to Hang Tuah may use the monorail at the Titiwangsa station and passengers bound for Chan Sow Lin may use the MRT Putrajaya route through Titiwangsa station.
