Bravo's injury compounded the misfortunes of Lyceum, which is currently winless following tough losses to reigning champion San Beda University and, most recently, the Stags, who staged a wild fourth quarter comeback to stun the wards of head coach Gilbert Malabanan. Bravo, the third leading LPU scorer last season behind Enoch Valdez and Shawn Umali, struggled against the Red Lions and scored just five points on 1-of-10 shooting. But he atoned for that lackluster showing with 13 markers, six rebounds, and one assist against San Sebastian.

With Bravo out, Lyceum will now need more from other veterans in John Barba, Mclaude Guadaña, Greg Cunanan, and Gyle Montaño in bid to salvage their season.
