Parts of Visayas, Mindanao will have cloudy skies with scattered rain showers and thunderstorms due to the Low Pressure Area (LPA) and Intertropical Convergence Zone (ITCZ), PAGASA reported.
At 3 a.m. on Thursday, the Low Pressure Area was estimated at 130 kilometers Southeast of Cuyo, Palawan and embedded along the Intertropical Convergence Zone that will be affecting Southern Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao, PAGASA reported.
Metro Manila and the rest of the country will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms due to the easterlies and localized thunderstorms with the possible occurrence of flash floods or landslides during severe thunderstorms. The highest Heat Index is expected to be felt in Aparri, Cagayan with 45 degrees Celsius followed by Laoag City, Ilocos Norte and Zamboanga City with 43 degrees Celsius.The heat index is the measure of the temperature that a person feels in contrast to the actual air temperature.
