Loyiso Bala received heavy backlash after he posted a special birthday message to his brother Phelo Bala.
JOHANNESBURG - Loyiso Bala has issued an apology following a tweet which caused outrage on social media."On Sunday, I tweeted a post that offended the LGBTI community. I sincerely apologise as it was not my intention to hurt anyone, but to express my love for my brother.""I am against all forms of discrimination and I support all who strive for equal rights and social justice", said Bala in the statement.
Loyiso found himself in hot water after sending a special birthday message to his younger brother Phelo Bala. Several people then accused Loyiso of being judgemental towards Phelo who is in a relationship with TV star Moshe Ndiki.
