Fresh off a tour with Dua Lipa, the SF-raised singer wowed Chase Center fans.
Lolo Zouaï sang the national anthem at Chase Center for the Golden State Warriors playoff game on May 7, 2022.After high school, Zouaï left for a short stint in college in Nashville before heading to New York to pursue her music career. Her first EP, released in 2019, was appropriately titled"Ocean Beach," a locale she always returns to while in SF and describes as a place where she goes to ponder her life .
Since"Ocean Beach," she's also released an album and a string of singles, as well as co-writing H.E.R.'s Grammy-winning song"Still Down." Her last appearance in the Bay Area was this past March, opening for Dua Lipa on a stadium tour, which helped prepare her for the Chase Center."Thankfully I just got off tour with Dua Lipa, so I was pretty accustomed to the arena feeling and used to singing for that big of an audience.
