Love Island winners Kai Fagan and Sanam Harrinanan have revealed they are engaged, just a year after meeting on hit ITV show

The pair announced the exciting news alongside snaps of their romantic proposal on social media."Beautiful, Caring, Loving and Smart are just some of the words that describe you. I love loving you, I love you and I can’t wait to spend the rest of my life with you."

In one snap, Sanam looked visibly emotional as she realised what was happening, and following the proposal, Kai cracked open a bottle of champagne to celebrate. Tasha Ghouri, who also appeared on Love Island, commented: "AHHHH!!!!! this is beautiful, congratulations to two amazing people."
