ITV's Love Island contestants will not be told about Prime Minister Boris Johnson's resignation in one of the most significant moments in British politics.
However, while the entire UK processes the news - some of its residents won't have even heard whispers of the change. The Love Island contestants, who are currently holed up in a villa in Mallorca, Spain, will not be told of the historical news until they leave. In the past, the Love Islanders have managed to indulge in snippets of real-life when they were allowed to watch the Euro 2020 final between England and Italy last year.
