Love Island star says islanders were told off after breaking phone rules LoveIsland
When the islanders are in the Love Island villa, they are banned from knowing anything about the outside world. That includes everything from what people are saying about them to simple things like the time.
The crafty duo managed to break into the phones and connect to the wifi while they were still in the South African villa, but the boys were stopped quickly by their fellow islander, Tanya Manhenga has told the Daily Star. When the "voice of god" would speak to the islanders, Tanya revealed that they would either tell them to stop or ask them to head to the Beach Hut, where they would be told off. It wasn't just the boys who would get told off, as Tanya confirmed that she was called to the Beach Hut during her stint in the villa.
The influencer said that the islanders were told off for their "own benefit." That's to make sure they don't accidentally offend anyone who is watching the show at home.
