BREAKING: Love Island’s summer series start date ‘revealed’ – and it’s not far away
The most recent season of the popular ITV2 show came to an end in March, with the new series said to be returning to screens on 5 June.
New host Maya Jama will be returning to the show by popular demand after she replaced Laura Whitmore, who stepped down from her hosting duties last year.“Love Island will start on June 5, just as people are getting ready to enjoy their summers," said a TV insider. "The cast will fly out late next month ready for the show to begin in just eight weeks," the went on to tell The Sun.According to reports, the series will be a whopping eight weeks long.According to the publication, the new Islanders will be jetting off to the same £2.57 million villa as last year, which boasts a 20 metre pool, outdoor kitchen and gym area.
