LoveIsland's Maya Jama details horror injury that left star wheelchair-bound
Maya Jama has detailed a gruesome injury she sustained that left part of the star’s foot “hanging off”.
But things took a turn for the worst the night before her big hosting gig, and the star ended up in a wheelchair for the rest of her time abroad. She continued to say on Pretty Little Thing's Behind Closed Doors podcast, as per The Sun: “The bottom of my foot was hanging off. I had to be in hospital for two days and ended up in a wheelchair for the rest of the time.”“I was getting carried into the ambulance like ‘wahey…’ not knowing that I might not be able to bend my f**king toes,” the Love Island host went on.
Maya has gone down a storm with Love Island viewers in the wake of her hosting debut earlier this month – including with colleague Iain Stirling.
