Love Island fans defend Will Young as Iain Stirling makes cheeky swipe at farmer
Love Island fans were left offended on behalf of fan-favourite Will Young after he was compared to a CBeebies presenter by show narrator Iain Stirling.
As the episode aired viewers at home took to Twitter to defend Will from Iain's cheeky comment, with one writing: "Why does everyone keep saying Will is not made for Love Island? Like I'm ngl if I was on the island I'd actually go for him because he's the only guy giving personality rn #loveisland." Although some did appear to agree with Iain's assessment, with one Twitter user sharing a picture of Mr Tumble and adding the caption: "Iain is so wrong for saying this but will sounds like this MF #LoveIsland."
Following up with a second tweet the some viewer added: "Go home Will, you’re too good for #LoveIsland."
