‘Love Is Blind’ season 10 star Victor St. John clarified his political stance after appearing on ‘Fox News’
Love Is Blind season 10 star Victor St. John is addressing swirling speculation regarding his political affiliation. “The serious question becomes how does a Black man who votes Democrat end up on Fox News?” Victor, 34, said in a Friday, March 27, TikTok video, addressing his recent Fox News interview alongside wife Christine Hamilton.
“I think if you divorce that from understanding my faith and my beliefs, then you won’t get it, right?” Victor and Christine, 31, got engaged sight unseen on Love Is Blind season 10, ultimately deciding to tie the knot nearly one month later. The pair, who remain the only season 10 couple still married, shared their love story on Fox News earlier this week. The news outlet is known for its ultra-conservative viewpoints and audience, which prompted speculation that Victor and Christine believe the same often-controversial ideologies. “The first primary layer to me is that I’m a man of God, I’m a man of faith. It is the core of everything about me,” Victor stated on Saturday, denying the speculation. “It is the core to my personal passions, my professional passions to serve the underserved vulnerable populations whether it’s healthcare, whether it’s criminal justice, whether it’s educational access, whether it’s poverty, whether it’s discussions around racism. My track record personally and professionally all stems that.” According to Victor, his faith extends into “the way up,” by volunteering for nonprofit organizations and holding fundraisers to support important causes. “This comes from my understanding of God’s love,” he said, also noting his “calmness” is a result of “the big man upstairs.”“In the last election, I voted for Kamala Harris. Prior to Kamala Harris, I voted for Joe Biden,” he said, referring to current President Donald Trump’s opponents in the 2024 and 2020 respective presidential elections. “If you want more of an inside scoop, I actually voted for Bernie Sanders and he lost.” “It was, essentially, a decision we prayed over similar to all the press requests we’ve got,” the professor explained of his decision to appear on the morning show. “I don’t think we denied a major press request. We prayed over all those decisions. What came from that conversation was it’s bigger than me, it’s bigger than you, it’s bigger than us it’s bigger than the pods … to show and talk about God’s love and how we show in our marriage.' Victor added, “Even if it was a viewership of folks who are right-leaning, God still comes up above all those political affiliations at least in my personal view and Christine’s personal view.”“We have like the craziest, busiest, most fun year up ahead. We have tons of weddings to go to. We have some travel to do,” Christine exclusively told Us Weekly earlier this month. “We have some projects that and I are working on, which is fun, like, because he’s my husband, and now he’s my business partner in a lot of ways, so a lot of exciting things coming down the pipeline.”
