In a recent heart-to-heart shared with her followers, Louise Thompson, reality TV star and proud mother to son Leo, peeled back the curtain on the unseen challenges she faces while living with an invisible illness.
“Living with an invisible illness comes with a unique set of challenges. On the outside, everything may seem fine, but on the inside, it’s a different story.” The reality star bravely confronted the stigma associated with invisible illnesses, revealing the frustration of being pigeonholed as a "PTSD patient" while grappling with physical symptoms.
Louise added: “The constant need to explain why you might not look sick is one of the problems that rears its ugly head quite a lot when I speak to other sufferers.
