.Louis_Tomlinson reluctantly revived the cat impression on the latelateshow Watch here:

He told old friend host James Corden that he's been working on the songs for his debut solo album "for a while now," and his plan is to "release songs a little bit more frequently." That news, of course, drew howls of approval from the London crowd during the third night of Corden's home country visit.
"At the moment it's three or four months in between, so I think I'm going to do two or three at once and get meself back on the road," he said, with that last bit really grabbing Corden's attention. "Back on the road?" he asked. "Are we talking about a tour this year?" Sadly, no. "I think next year," Tomlinson said to deafening screams. "Which I'm really excited about. You know obviously we spent 70 percent of our time inon the road, so it's been a while for me to do a tour." He promised to "start small" and then work his way up to bigger venues.
