The story revolves around a family of four trapped inside their home by an unknown force. The screenplay for 11817 is penned by Matthew Robinson, whose previous credits include Love and Monsters and The Invention of Lying. The film boasts a stellar production team, featuring Peter Chernin, Jenno Topping, and Kori Adelson of Chernin Entertainment, alongside Oly Obst from 3 Arts Entertainment. Leterrier himself will also serve as a producer, with Thomas Benski, Cécile Gaget, Lars Sylvest, and Thorsten Schumacher on board as executive producers.The film stars Greta Lee, who gained recognition for her roles in The Morning Show, Russian Doll, and Past Lives, earning a Golden Globe nomination for the latter.
