According to the police, the two suspects, a man and a woman, shoplifted from Macy's and were confronted by a Loss Prevention Officer.The Loss Prevention Officer hid inside a storage room after the shooting, according to officials. Emergency Medical Services had to go inside to get the officer out.
Macy's was evacuated as a precaution since the suspects may have reentered the mall, according to police. Authorities did not find the two suspects inside of the Macy's; police believe the suspects may have fled. The San Antonio Police Department's Raven and Eagle Units were both on the scene assisting in the search for the suspect.This is a developing story.
