Los Gatos’ rising young artists will be in the spotlight on Friday, May 19. As part of the nonprofit Art Vistas’ series of showcases, Alta Vista Elementary students will have their artwork from this year on display. Art Vistas partnered with the Union School District to provide art instruction to students from kindergarten through eighth grade.
The library has launched a survey that allows residents to provide feedback on how they use—or why they don’t use—library services. Questions cover how well the library caters to different age groups, how inclusive offerings are and how welcoming staff and other patrons are, among other topics.Saturday, May 20, is National River Cleanup Day, and Los Gatos residents can participate in a cleanup event along Los Gatos Creek Trail. The cleanup will take place from 9 a.m. to noon.
