The Los Angeles Police Protective League, the union representing L.A. officers, endorsed developer and Bass's main opponent Rick Caruso and has spent over $4 million.
"You have to do temporary housing, which my plan has 30,000 beds within a year," he said. "I know I can get that built."
Bass went after the union during a virtual campaign event Thursday morning with some of the big Washington D.C. names who have endorsed her, including Congressman Adam Schiff, Congressman Ted Lieu, and Congresswoman Judy Chu.
