PUTRAJAYA: The lorry driver involved in a fatal accident here that claimed the lives of two motorcyclists is expected to be charged on Monday (Sept 25).
Putrajaya OCPD Asst Comm A. Asmadi Abdul Aziz said the investigation papers were referred to the deputy public prosecutor and has been instructed to charge the driver with causing death by reckless or dangerous driving under Section 41 of the Road Transport Act on Monday.
The driver of the trailer that ploughed into more than a dozen vehicles at KM5.7 Jalan Persiaran Utara heading towards Puchong on Sept 20 has been remanded for four days starting Thursday .
