Lorraine tweeted to confirm the news
Lorraine Kelly has been forced to come off her ITV morning show for a few days as she is replaced by Carol Vorderman. The TV presenter last hosted her Lorraine show on Friday and has been off air since.
Manchester Evening News reports that Carol was only a guest on the show a matter of weeks ago. She appeared on the programme, which airs every weekday from 9am on ITV, to talk about her appearance on Celebrity Gogglebox."Now this morning, I thought I saw Carol Vorderman in the corridor," Susanna said on GMB as they linked to the Lorraine set.
"I didn't think you were in for our programme and you're not," Susanna said as Ed mimicked the surprise Susanna had. "We didn't think so either but sadly, Lorraine has caught the dreaded you know what and I'm sitting in here for a few days which I'm delighted to do," Carol explained.
