Lorraine Kelly admits thinking Will Smith's Oscars punch was a ‘stunt’ for ‘attention’
Lorraine Kelly has admitted she initially thought Will Smith’s altercation with Chris Rock at the Oscars was a "pretend stunt” for “attention.”
Joining in the conversation, Lorraine Kelly said as she opened her show: “Just when you thought the Oscars are a bit boring well everybody’s talking about it now aren’t they? Will Smith slapping Chris Rock live on stage overnight, it wasn’t a stunt.” She continued: “Our Ross is at the Vanity Fair afterparty now, Ross I must admit I did think ‘oh it’s just one of these things just to get attention and get everybody talking’ but this was really genuine, it was a moment.”
Lorraine added: “Wow that was something, but obviously there’s a lot more to this isn’t there, it looks like there’s history between these two.”
