The fire-infused might of the Lord class can be unlocked in Lords of The Fallen for your starting character when you reach a very specific ending.

One of the three classes you must unlock in The Lords of The Fallen is the Lord, a starting archetype with a strong focus on fire spells to fuel combat abilities. Unlike the Pyric Cultist, this class combines a high affinity for magical flames with above-average martial traits to be a devastating warrior instead of a mage. You will need to reach a rare ending to the game to have the Lord as an option when creating a new character.

SCREENRANT VIDEO OF THE DAY SCROLL TO CONTINUE WITH CONTENT The power from the Lord class comes from their 22 Inferno stat, a ridiculous starting Attribute that is supported by a 13 Vitality and 13 Endurance. A 12 Strength also allows you to wield heavier melee weapons like the starting Lord Axe. Along with three spells, two Rings, the class' unique Armor Set, and a Catalyst, there's very little this archetype can't do between the Axiom and Umbral Realms.

The Ring of Bones and Ring of Duty are part of your starting equipment, along with the Infernal Weapon, Infernal Slash, and Adyr's Endurance magic spells. The Lord dwarfs other classes, like the Dark Crusader in Lords of The Fallen, who have far fewer options at the beginning of the game.

To unlock the Inferno ending, you need to use an item called the Rune of Adyr, which can be found in the Abbey of the Hallowed Sisters. After you defeat the Sundered Monarch and collect its Umbral Scouring in Lords of The Fallen in Bramis Castle, travel to the Effigy of Adyr to transform this object into the Empowered Rune of Adyr. Return to each Beacon and use the Rune on them to lock your path forward to the right ending.

Continue through the game until you take down Judge Cleric, the Radiant Sentinel boss, before using the Empowered Rune on the NPC Iselle. This triggers the Inferno ending, unlocking the Lord class as an option when creating a new character in The Lords of The Fallen.
