ELYRIA, Ohio -- The Lorain County Drug Task Force will host an “Operation Bridge” event on Aug. 1 and 2, which supports individuals struggling with substance use disorders by connecting them with treatment resources and removing barriers to recovery.
The event will take place at Walmart in Elyria, where attendees will have access to a variety of services meant to facilitate recovery, including mental health support, housing assistance and help with employment and education.“If someone has a warrant for their arrest in Lorain County, we will have court personnel and attorneys on hand and a judge available to help with not letting that be a barrier to getting into treatment for substance use disorder,” according to a news release.
