A number of roads will be closed in the Cape Town CBD and surrounding suburbs as the Sanlam Marathon takes place next week.

Due to the marathon, a number of roads in the CBD and surroundings will be closed periodically to traffic on Sunday, 15 October 2023. said the City will deploy its safety and security services to assist in management of logistics and safety in and around the event footprint. “We would like to advise those who will be on the road during this time to please exercise patience and heed the signs for detours,” Smith said.
