The famous Japanese steak chain is heading to this location sooner than you think!

MANILA, Philippines – It’s true: Japanese steak chain Ikinari Steak is set to open its first branch in Metro Manila by the end of 2022!

A tarpaulin was spotted at the ground floor of MOA Square on Monday, November 21, indicating that Ikinari Steak would be opening in December 2022. The space is located besideMOA Square is a developing building of establishments located at the SM Mall of Asia Complex in Pasay City, right by IKEA Philippines.

Ikinari Steak, which means “sudden steak” in Japanese, is a casual dining restaurant chain known for its high-quality steaks sold in various cuts at reasonable, weight-based price points, served either rare, medium-rare, medium, or well-done on a sizzling-hot iron plate. The Japanese restaurant is known for its grain-fed ribeye steak, sirloin, and tenderloin fillet cuts, with “each slice of meat freshly cut in front of you based on your weight request.

Other items on the Japanese menu include grilled hamburger steak, grilled chicken steak, diced steak cuts, certified angus beef chuck-eye steak, and various toppings. Hopefully, Philippine customers will be granted the same Ikinari Steak experience here! Ikinari Steak opened its first branch in Tokyo in December 2013 and now has over 400 stores across the country.
