French champagne, caviar, a pamper zone and even a secret tequila bar will all feature in the exclusive Birdcage enclosure during Melbourne Cup week. Just days out from the race that stops the nation at Flemington Racecourse, the Victoria Racing Club unveiled what was in store for those lucky enough to secure an exclusive spot.
Look inside the Birdcage as Melbourne Cup Carnival festivities get underway. G.H. Mumm will be the official champagne of the cup carnival, with model and actress Jessica Gomes popping open a bottle in front of avid onlookers. Hair and make-up touch ups will take place at the Pamper Lounge, while caviar potato blinis and prawn cocktails will be on offer at the Crown marquee.
