Former Coronation Street star Helen Flanagan opened the attraction
Distinct play zones are inspired by The Gruffalo, The Gruffalo’s Child, Zog, The Snail and the Whale, Room on the Broom and The Highway Rat. The attraction includes play suitable for children under 10, with a toddler play area specifically for under threes.Welcome to the deep, dark wood where your search for the Gruffalo begins! Say hello to Mouse at the secret entrance before embarking on your wild and playful, woodland journey.
Helen and Charlie spent time meeting the giant 3D models of The Gruffalo, Mouse, Fox, Snake, Owl, Zog, Snail and The Highway Rat characters. They were meticulously constructed over hundreds of hours by experts, who spent two months obsessively watching the animated films. The attraction is now open to the public and is next door to Sea Life Blackpool right on the Promenade., costing from £12 for children aged three to 14 and from £4.50 for adults. Cheaper rates are available if you book more than one attraction.
