True to his word, Albay 3rd district Rep. Fernando 'Didi' Cabredo launched a community pantry for his constituents who were temporarily living in evacuation centers as a result of Mayon Volcano's rumblings. ManilaBulletin

Albay 3rd district Rep. Fernando "Didi" Cabredo--using the P500,000 financial assistance from Speaker Martin Romualdez--establishes a community pantry for evacuees of Mayon Volcano's continued restiveness.

Cabredo on Saturday, June 17 posted photos of the launch of the community pantry, which offered a wide selection of vegetables that the evacuees can choose from. They're free, of course. Earlier, Cabredo relayed to House Speaker Martin Romualdez's office that the P500,000 cash assistance that it gave in connection with the Mayon situation would be used to set up the community pantry.
