Pigeons are known for the distinctive way they build nests. See the unconventional way this Cape Town pigeon has done it:

It’s sad that they have to make nests with our rubbish,” read the post.Reinforced by some of the comments, pigeons seem to have a bad reputation at making nests. As they often build in urban settings and on ledges, their nests generally look unsanitary and a bit unattractive.
Anthony has since posted an update, showing the pigeon’s hatched squabs settling into their new home.
